eclipses and the like

aerynSo on March 3, there will be a "total lunar eclipse visible over the eastern Americas, Europe, Africa, and western Asia".
Frustrated by this, I looked up the other eclipses this year, and found out that there will be another total lunar eclipse on August 28th. "All of North America will witness some portion of the eclipse, but western observers are favored." Unfortunately, I will probably be en route to Europe at that point.
On a related note, the LSATs can just die.
