I was informed last week that I've been in law school for 1/4th of a semester. Which means I've done 1/24th of my academic law school career. This was more of a frightening realization than a reassuring one, as I feel like I've barely learned anything. And yet, I've learned so much at the same time.
For instance, upon opening my citation book for the very first time, I managed to turn directly to the only two pages in the text referring to Irish law.
I've also learned how tiring law school is - and how easy it is to contract illness. Like some throat-sick which 3/5ths of the house currently has. (We're trying to spread it to the other 2/5ths, but progress is slow. Probably because we're bad at fractions.)
