Aer Lingus Baggage Notes
Nov. 28th, 2007 09:57 pm(Because I have to take those books home somehow...)
Free allowance:
1 cabin bag - no more than 13 lbs, must fit in overhead bin or under seat. Coats and small purses also allowed.
2 checked bags - ea much weigh no more than 70 lbs, together no more than 80 lbs
Baggage exceeding your free allowance will incur charges:
* Baggage weighing between 36kgs - 46kgs (80lbs - 100lbs) will be charged €40/$50.
* Baggage weighing between 47kgs - 64kgs (101lbs - 140lbs) will be charged €80/$100.
* Any additional bag over the 2 free bags will be charged at €80/$100 per bag.
I brought one backpack and one large suitcase coming here. The suitcase nearly weighed 70 lbs. If I get another piece of luggage, and average out the two of them, I'll get an extra 30 lbs of stuff for only $50 - way cheaper than shipping.
Hmm...
