It rained today.
This is not monsoon-country, at all, whatsoever. This is Bay Area, California, for goodness sakes, and it shouldn't be raining here in mid-July.
That said, it was rather pleasant.
Randomly, JKR's interviews recently have been great fun. She hates on the Harry/Hermione shippers, and there is much rejoicing.
Equally randomly, I am reading an excellent book by Terry Pratchett currently. It is called Wee Free Men, and the little things have the most adorable Scottish accents.
